From a very young age, I knew I wanted to be involved in Real Estate. I remember being a small kid and being fascinated with all different homes and properties. I loved the grand character homes with stunning brick work, the new construction homes with the latest in building technologies right down to the most modest yet charming homes like the one I spent a good part of my childhood growing up in. I had the unique advantage of growing up surrounded by entrepreneurs including my parents who were the most innovative entrepreneurs many people have ever met. From helping my parents on their Sod Farm south of Moose Jaw, and then as teenager, helping them build their home on their acreage while learning all about construction, working alongside them with their commercial properties and the endless projects and changes they required, right down to the countless hours of Board Meetings I was taken too -which I didn’t understand at the time- for the demolition of the Harwood Hotel, construction and then multiple additions to help create and develop the world famous Temple Gardens Mineral Spa.
It was only natural that I wanted to be in a career where I didn’t have the normal boundaries of a traditional job and where the sky was the limit!
Hard work is not something I shy away from and contrary to popular belief, Real Estate is hard work and I have the gray hair to prove it! – Just ask my hairdresser! Regardless of the sometimes long and tough days, I absolutely love my job and love and the people I have gotten to help over the years! My goal in my career is to make the purchase of your property as easy and as fun as possible. I have often joked with my past clients, that since I will likely be seeing you in the local grocery store after I am done selling them a house, that I had better do a good job, so they don’t go running and screaming in the other direction. I am happy to report, this has yet to happen to me. Haha. My strategies are simple, low pressure, total transparency, absolute patience’s, and knowledge sharing. That’s it!
I have been working for my Brokerage since 2007 and have been a full time REALTOR® since 2008. I’m licensed to sell Residential, Farm and Commercial properties. I also have my Broker designation. I have had some amazing mentors throughout my career so far. I have had amazing Brokers who were by my side throughout my junior years and currently a new owner who is there to support myself and our team whenever we have needed it. I have incredible co-workers who have always been willing to lend an ear and help work through problems that notoriously arise in this business. I have had the career-changing opportunity to be a part of our local Real Estate Board (prior to a Provincial amalgamation) and work my way through the chairs right up to my Presidency in 2013. The knowledge I gained and the friendships I formed from that time are invaluable to me. This has all been part of the building blocks that have made me the successful REALTOR® I am today. I have the accolades to prove it. I am very proud and honoured to be a repeat award winner for my successful performance for many years and most recently have been awarded part of Royal LePage’s Executive Circle which includes the top 2% nationally for units sold and top 5% nationally for gross commission income in 2023, along with the Award of Excellence and Saskatchewan TOP TEN Award winner with Royal LePage.
In 2015 I became a mother to the sweetest little girl, and she has been my “Real Estate side kick” ever since. She is by far my most prized achievement and she has kept me humble and grateful for everything I have been afforded in my life. I have had the amazing support of my spouse Jeff, for 17years- he has been my biggest cheerleader throughout it all. I am also very grateful to have the most wonderful and supportive family. They have helped me more than they will know especially while trying to be a good mom and balancing my sometimes-crazy work-life! I spend my down time with my family enjoying walks with our dog Leo – he’s the “bestest boy ever” (IYKYK), going to the “farm”, reading, wine, friend-time, traveling to our favourite family destinations, and tending to my yard and flowers.
Moose Jaw is a wonderful place to call home and a great community to raise a family. I love our community and everything it has to offer. If you are thinking of making a move, let me help you to understand the buying and selling process. Together we can make your move the best one yet!
